As the holiday season ends, it’s time to reflect on the fun and festivity that took place. But with so many people now working from home, it can be hard to bring everyone together for a traditional office party. That’s why we suggest using the power of technology to host a virtual holiday party instead! Our remote team members have enjoyed playing two games this holiday season.
Holiday Who Am I?
This is a great game for getting to know your coworkers better! Before the meeting, send out a survey to attendees asking questions like “What is the best gift you ever received?” and “What is the worst gift you ever received?” Once the meeting begins, randomly select an answer from each respondent and read it aloud. The other players must guess who the answer belongs to; whoever guesses correctly first wins one point! Don’t forget to tally up points at the end of each round.
Babes in Toyland
This game is sure to bring some laughs! Ask everyone to submit a baby photo of themselves before the meeting starts, then display them all on-screen during your virtual gathering. Everyone takes turns guessing who is in each photo—the one with the correct answers wins! For added hilarity, award bonus points if someone can guess which toy they were holding in their baby picture.
Holidays don’t have to be lonely or monotonous just because we’re all stuck at home this year. Gather your remote team members for a festive virtual party and play these fun games for an evening of laughter and connection! Remember that no matter how far apart we may be physical, there’s still room for some much-needed holiday cheer. Happy holidays!
