Join GSR in appreciating all the nurses this week!

This week is Nurse Appreciation Week, and we’d like to take a moment to show our appreciation for all the nurses out there who dedicate their lives to helping others. We know that being a nurse is more than just a job–it’s a calling. It’s a passion. It’s a way of life. And we are so grateful for everything that nurses do to make the world a better place. Nurses play a vital role in the health and well-being of their patients. They are the ones who provide the day-to-day care and act as a crucial link between patience and Doctors.

Today marks the beginning of National Nurses Week. The observance begins each year on May 6 and ends on May 12, the birthday of the founder of modern nursing – Florence Nightingale.  During this week, we take the time to acknowledge the significant contributions nurses make to our lives and to call attention to the challenges they face in their work. We also celebrate the differences that nurses make in the lives of those they serve.

Nurse’s week is celebrated annually all over America to show appreciation for all that nurses do for patients and their families. This year’s theme is “4 Million Reasons to Celebrate,” in recognition of the 4 million nurses currently working in the U.S.

At last, let us take a moment this week to express our appreciation for all that nurses do for us. Thank you, nurses, for everything. Thank you for your compassionate care, your tireless dedication, and your unending commitment to those you serve. You are truly an inspiration to us all. Happy Nurse Appreciation Week!
